Despite going unbeaten through the group stage, the all whites have fallen out of contention for the world cup. After a dream run, three draws wasn't enough to get us through to the second round.

I had the pleasure of watching the game with good people, the atmosphere perfect. Had hope till the last whistle. Just couldn't get that all important goal.

Experiencing the odd feeling of being proud but sad. The feeling when amazing is just not quite good enough. You did us proud boys. New Zealand football is on the map. I don't really have that much time to come on here anymore. I guess in a way that's good.

Anyway, I feel like talking a whole lot of visionary nothing...

Yesterday I suffered my first loss of the football season. Felt alright after, because we didn't deserve to win. But eventually it makes you start thinking.

I could have done a lot more to win the game. One clear cut chance I could have scored but chose to take the easy option and pass and the receiver was called offside. Grrr. Played half hearted. Pulled out of way too many challenges, and didn't back myself in enough situations. The feeling of "I could have done more" is a shite one to have.

However, next time I come across this team, it makes me want to go even harder. I mean there were a few things I could legitimately blame for the loss. The weather first of all. We played the first 20 minutes in blinding rain and hail. You literally could not see properly and had to keep your head down in the hail. The weather in turn effected the pitch. One half of the field you could not dribble in. Any attempt to run with the ball ended up with the balling getting stuck in the mud. Lastly, the referee was rather dodgy. I don't think he quite knew the rules of the game, I guess that's what you get not playing in a premier division though.

I felt I played decently though. Anytime a team singles you out to put a lot of pressure on or try to take out, you know you're doing well. Luckily for me I don't scare easily. Pretty much every time I got the ball I was fouled. I take it as a compliment, and it makes me play harder. Just means don't get anywhere near the other team and you'll be fine :) Use pace and they won't be anywhere near you.

That is my rant for the day. The saddest part is I played in new boots yesterday. Beautiful new boots.

He's a hard man to find out about. From what I can gather, he hails from the city of angels & is signed to a label called Elektra (headed by Mike Caren, A&R dude for Atlantic & John Janick the don at major indie label Fueled by Ramen).

He is involved with a lot of vocal production & as we know the guy has a voice himself. First major feature was on B.O.B's hit "Nothin' on You". I personally think he makes that song. His first solo song I've heard is "World Goes On" and I really like what I hear. He also features on a song with Travie called "Billionaire" where he spits another dope hook.

I don't mean to sound drastic, and I may be too early in saying it. But I kind of think this movie changed my life. Well not changed, but pushed me even more forward.

People may think I sound like a crackhead saying it but I feel an uncanny resemblance to Alice, and her train of thought. Nothing Is Impossible being the main common point. Not many people in life really believe that, but I am one. Do I sound cocky? Well I'm not. It's confidence. I guess part of that is being big headed though. Sorry.

The title explains this post. I'm going to cover two main topics in this post. Be prepared for ranting, some serious heart to heart stuff, and a lot of talking shit.

Chapter One; LEAVE CELEBRITIES ALONE

There is a lot fucking me off in the media atm. First of all, TIGER WOODS. Now this dude is and will always be my nigger. He is one of my 5 favourite athletes of all time. He is amazing. A lot of people don't know about his past. He didn't have it easy. He over came a lot of the same that many dark skinned children go through growing up.

This explains how much I love Tiger. I don't read books. I have only ever read TWO books cover to cover. One of these was "Tiger". The auto-bio of Tiger Woods. The other was The Outsider, which is still the best fiction book of all time.

So he played up, is he the only celebrity in the world that does or has? You are dreaming. Everyone knows these big spenders have women gagging everywhere they go. Why is no one angry at the girls that slept with him? They all knew he had a wife, can't no one tell me they didn't.

What really hurts me, is people saying he cannot come back from it. Two of my other top 5 athletes of all time have both come through major controversy. Kobe Bryant, this guy was accused of sexually assaulting a 19 year old. He was dropped by Adidas, Nike was scared to sign him at first. The outcome? He came back better than he ever did. He is now the best player in the NBA (well him or Bron). The second is the greatest, Michael Jordan. He was known to have a major gambling problem. He is STILL, the most influential person in basketball history.

Great people fuck up aswell, it doesn't take anything from how amazing they are.

I kind of have more to rant at about this topic. CHRIS BROWN is the next topic.

Major stores throughout the US have boycotted his album. Do they boycott Jay-Z albums because he used to sell drugs?

Chris fucked up, but he apologised and came back hard. I have been a big Chris Brown fan since day 1. A lot of my close friends know that. I know people will call it gay or whatever that I still listen to him, but keep hating, you make me better. His new album is my favourite so far. I can comfortably listen to every song from beginning to end. I have been for the last few weeks. Leave the dude alone. The industry is hard enough, let him be.

Tiger Woods and Chris Brown. I am still huge fans, and will continue to follow you into the future.

Chapter Two; People

I went a bit emo at the end of a post a bit back.

Since then I have learned that change is possible. It can take time for people to realise things sometimes. It is extremely annoying, kind of sad, but it's the way people are. In this certain instance it turned out good for me.

However I have also learned some people can change for the worse. You can go through a hell of a lot with someone, and when you hit a brick wall they just turn around and walk back. Any wall can be broken, ANY wall. I am a strong believer in ANYTHING can happen.

There is a saying in Muslim religion, "Insha'Allah". It translates to "God Willing". Impossible is not in my vocabulary, it should not be in yours. If you really, I mean REALLY believe, you can do anything. Belief is the key.

Still I must go on about people.

Why would you blatantly speak down on someone, then run when the consequences come at you? There is no excuse when you are speaking about someone in a bad way. You've said it already, you can't take it back. Face up to what you have done or said and be prepared for whatever you have coming.

Last point. Always remember sometimes people do mess up. Listen to apologies, they may be sincere. There are reasons behind why people do things. So much of the time there are misunderstandings that lead to bad situations. Listening can straighten these out 9 times out of 10.

I love music, in case you haven't noticed.

Shit loads of good music floating round atm. The new Chris Brown album is bonkers. I know everyone is hating on him for one reason or another, he beat on Rihanna, niggas gay cause he singing. Whatever. He is the best at what he does. Period.

The Ministry of Sound Annual is insane. I have been blasting it like crazy since I got it.

You all know I'm a sucker for music videos aswell.

First is the debut track from Australian Idol winner Stan Walker. I mess with this dude, no homo. Like the song. Video is average as, BUT, it was made in half a day. Holy!

Next is the video for the Young Money collab "Bed Rock". I love this song, and the video matches the song well. It is the type of song that needs a video of dudes just chillin all swagged out.

I love Tyga. His swag is crazy. Wayne is sick as ever, and Drakes verse gets a thumbs up from me.

Okay, so I have a friend called Maddi. He's pretty much the man aye. This post is dedicated solely to him (although others may be mentioned in photos and stories). Yeahh, moral of the story, Maddi is most probably cooler than you are. By the way, no I am not being sarcastic (although I may exaggerate the truth a bit here and there). I just think he is the man. Astley & Josh know what I'm talking about. Now you all will.

Okay so this is in Wellington. Not just plain old Auckland, Maddi was in Welly biiiitch. Funny story about this night. Maddi actually shouted us all McDonalds and the McDs girl was hitting on him. But he wasn't flustered, I mean he's used to it.

This is Maddi with Taydoe. If you don't know who Taydoe is, he is like the TomTV guy for The Game. You know multi platinum record selling rapper Jayceon "The Game" Taylor. Well Maddi was hanging out with them on the stage. So mean IMO.

Only three people can really pull off leather. Dean Martin, Jake Heke & Maddi of course. Note he is often wearing New Era caps. Usually a Yankees one. Well he made the Yankee hat more famous than Jay-Z. OMG! Jordan Whitlock is in this picture too. He is almost as cool as Maddi. I love Jordan. He is a sir. I coma'd at his house on Saturday night.

This is Maddi & Courtney who you may remember from a few posts ago. They're actually Star Gazing in this photo. Me and my friends loved this photo so much, we decided to name out touch team the "StarGazers" aka "*Gazers". How many people can say they have been that influential in the naming of a semi-professional sports team.

Once again Jordan appears. With Jordan is his girlfriend Andrea. I had my first real conversation with her on Saturday night. Unfortunately I don't remember this conversation very well at all. With Maddi is his "Sponsor". Her name is Alana or LL Cool J. Maddison is actually dressed as a cricket player in this photo. He came straight out of Black Caps training camp and still got girls. The other girl in the photo is Coree, hmmm.

Okay so this was at one of our touch games(you know that team we named after Maddis photo). He scored 5 tries this game if I remember right?

In this photo, he is actually representing the "BG"(Me and my close friends). We are pretty much like a gang I guess. No that's complete rubbish. We are a group of friends who get OTP. Yeah. He is wearing a Versace suit in this photo. Donatella made it for him herself. Holy!

The last featured photo. Maddison is seen here with DJ WATSON. If you guys don't know who DJ watson is, you've obviously never been to Fiji. He is Fiji's number one club DJ. Maddi flew him over for the weekend just to play us music while we were drinking. What a good guy aye.
